Trumpet of the Swan

Hi, my name is Priscilla Vaughn and I am the Assistant Director at the library.  I am also a big fan of the book for our One Book One Billerica Program – Trumpet of the Swan.  Each week I will be giving a short summary of each chapter to entice you to read more!!!  Here goes—Chapter 1 introduces the reader to 11 year old Sam Beaver who, with his Dad, is on a camping trip in Canada.  While exploring the small pond near camp, Sam sees a pair of trumpet swans. 

Now you read Chapter 1 to find out more about Sam and the swans.

    I just started this book, and I love it so far! Can’t wait to see what happens next, the characters are wonderful.
